I didn’t understand the background of the trial and was a bit confused. Who is suing who and why?

Also is there any blowback from Scottish parents at all?? Here in the States there was always so much blowback.

The Stephen Ireland case? He was found guilty of a whole host of nefarious acts, so it was a criminal case, not a civil one.

As for parental blow back? It's a complicated answer because the Scottish state has manifested a response system that is Orwellian in design and implementation. There is no direct democracy here in schools - but a never ended series of paper trails to follow. Parents are on the main not 'happy' with what is going on. Some parents opt to send their kids to Catholic schools where this particular kind of thing is not present. Or homeschool. The biggest problem is the institutional and cultural capture. Even the police are signed up for it. We are in a state of occupation. Truly.

Interesting. In the States, as you know, PTA’s are so strong so it is possible to resist and rebuild at the grassroots which is what we are doing State by State. This is also where being a Republic helps - the size of the USA creates the difference in each location and so we can more safely fight!

Scotland is so tiny- it would be like living in a deep blue State - almost impossible to make Conservative changes. I get it now when I look through that lens.

I meant the NHS puberty Blocker trial- I didn’t understand what that is all about…

Your Substack is fascinating by the way- such important work you are doing.

That’s exactly it. The Parent Councils don’t have the political power here like America unfortunately. And for the most part Scotland is NYC. It will be a long long haul to change things. Hopefully without too much damage. Thank you for your comment 🙏

As an aside, I was just watching Winston Marshall. Not “assisted suicide” but “Euthanasia” (they are distinct procedures) are now the latest version of Woke empathy—viz., in Canada a suicidal veteran calls the VA and he is offered euthanasia or “MAID” (Medical Assistance in Dying). Now here’s the kicker, the law originally disallowed this “service” to anyone under 18. But that has been revised to allow for “Mature Minors.” I kid you not. So not only are miserable confused teens bestowed the wisdom of deciding whether than can castrate themselves, they are now (apparently) clear-headed enough to know that it will never get better. True statistic: 5% of all deaths in Canada are by Euthanasia.

You are right. What the UK is quite literally railroading through parliament right now is a 'State Sanctioned Murder Bill'. I don't believe we should be involved in these matters but the fact that ALL safeguards are being ignored is beyond nefarious. Disabled? Elderly? Poor? Depressed? Don't let anyone get in the way to end it all. It's eugenics in clear sight. I think this mechanistic approach to life is endemic in education and culture right now. Our bodies? Just bits to be swapped out. Life and death? Merely a switch to be turned off and on at will. But here's the trick - if we notice WHO is being sterilised and killed? It's what one might term 'useless eaters' in prior generations. No value unless can contribute to the 'machine' of life. It's abhorrent. And you are right MAID should be a wake up call. But it's not. It's a beacon for the evil intent pushing it through. I wrote this some months ago, working on something else now. https://deemingdreaming.substack.com/p/assisted-suicide-eugenics-mark-4

I had just heard of this (except for the 30yo depressed woman in the Netherlands—which left me gobsmacked). I think this is a natural result of the promise of state provided cradle to grave welfare that the state can no longer afford to finance. Instead, since no politicos have the balls to cut back on welfare and the people will 100% not accept economic reality the only thing to do is get rid of as many consumers as possible. Whats telling is that people are so psychologically intermeshed with the welfare state—they naturally turn to the all embracing govt to help them end their lives.

The conditioning of care by the state is a huge problem. In the meantime community along with family has broken down. We are going to have to find another way through this.
