In the ongoing maze of contradictions, controversy and court cases around the thing we’ve named ‘gender ideology’ I cannot help but think of bigger picture problems. We have a host of powerful men appropriating female space using the ‘get out of jail free card’ (literally) of self id (Pippa Bunce, Isla Bryson, Dr. Upton et al). The scope of their sought after public delusion creates a lot of noise. That they have transitioned as adults is also interesting. Should it come as no surprise that those in power can generate more power?
Conversely it seems it is (largely) female detransitioners who are raising the alarm of child transition as we have seen with Keira Bell, Prisha Mosley and Chloe Cole.

This sex divide is an interesting one. It is not females (largely) who are being called out for appropriating male space. The risk they pose is read as minimal. And whilst we can understand why this is the case regarding physical strength of males in females spaces (the potential for assault and rape etc) -are we ignoring the potential harmful consequences females might face through the process of being transitioned not just to themselves but the wider world? I speak not of brute force but of sociopathologies that are cultivated and enhanced by social transition and… testosterone shots.
In the latest casualty of harms racked up by not addressing the big old ‘gender ideology’ elephant in the room a girl who identifies as a boy has been charged with plotting to shoot children in her Edinburgh school in a ‘Columbine styled event’.
To my non-Scottish readers I need to iterate to you how doubly chilling this is for Scottish families whose minds are still clouded by the Dunblane School Massacre. On the 13 March 1996 Thomas Hamilton entered into Dunblane Primary School, a quiet suburb near the town of Stirling, with four handguns which he used to shoot and kill 16 children and one teacher. The ghost of this horrific tragedy remains ever present in our minds, even as Scotland passed legislation banning handguns. The thought that a child would contemplate such a horrific act is beyond comprehension.
We do not know the details of the case above - still many unanswered elements. Not least that the BBC story above only related the child’s transgender identity in passing and (it seems) only as a means to illicit concern for her planned attack.
I could not help but think (immediately) that one of the reported significant side effects of testosterone use in females is increased criminality. In fact the off label use of testogel (one of the leading pharmaceuticals used in ‘gender medicine’) include the following “mood disorders, emotional symptoms (mood swings, affective disorder, anger, aggression, impatience, insomnia….”

But, as said, we do not know if this girl was on testosterone to facilitate her transgender identity or merely unstable. Regardless, her plans were significant enough to warrant being charged under the Terrorism Act at the High Court in Glasgow. I cannot imagine that cases like this show up unless there is a genuine perception of threat. It does seem striking though, such a huge thing ALL of the sudden. Surely there must have been warning signs?
What is the scope, scale and particulars of girls who ‘transition to being boys’ in schools?
In a previous post I spoke of the transing of primary school girls by their parents and the schools ‘going along with it’. The privacy and dignity of boys is not such a hot topic (though as a Mother of a son I think it should be). Therefore boys are left to ‘be embarrassed’ (at best) as girls are validated by using boys toilets and changing facilities. I have been hearing of increasing cases of girl to boy transition in primary schools and wonder how this will go when these children hit puberty and breast development and other sex specific characteristics become evident….. (it is also worth noting -again- that this is illegal. For Women Scotland have recently challenged Scot Gov to ‘get in line’ or face a Sandie Peggie styled court case)
The ‘transing’ of girls thus far has been commented on by such authors as Abigail Shirier. Two factors seem to play in: autism and social contagion.
That we have seen a sharp rise in autism diagnoses (see my podcast with Jules Sandilands- Scotland now reports 40% of children with an ASN diagnosis, which includes autism) and that autistic girls are prone to falling into the gender trap seems like a dangerous meeting of conditions. That media, schools, governments continue to validate and promote these dangerous lies using familiar dog whistles like ‘kindness’, ‘human rights’ and ‘being one’s true self’ are like dreamies to a hungry kitten for these impressionable girls. And when I say *impressionable* I mean just that, they are prime fodder to be ‘imprinted on’.
Yet the autism contagion alluded to in Shrier’s book is teens. Developmentally, gender ideology makes no sense for primary school kids as pre-pubescent children have not yet woken to their ‘sexed’ identity. So why are we seeing an increase of reported cases of girls ‘becoming boys’ in primary schools?
If one follows the cognitive development of children as outlined by pre-eminent child psychologist Jean Piaget we can trace the progression from the pre-operational stage (2-7 years) where children recognise sex differences through operational stage (7-11 years) wherein children *may* understand gender roles but this is limited due to their inability to think abstractly. What is striking about both these key stages is that children are concrete thinkers - and gender ideology is abstract. So it seems unlikely if not impossible for a pre-pubescent child to ‘arrive’ at a trans identity of their own volition.
So what brings a pre-pubescent child to ‘believe’ (as a concrete thinker) that their body is wrong? Could it be a mix of the adults around them reinforced by powerful messaging on such programs as CBeebies (the BBC offshoot for pre-schoolers) hailing drag queens as ‘inspirational Mums’….????
Or the not-so-subtle messaging of ‘gender queer’ Christine and the Queens reinforcing her opposite sex pronouns to toddlers whilst reinforcing regressive sex stereotypes…..????

These are just two of a huge array of trans ideological positive programming made by our state broadcaster the BBC. (google BBC, CBeebies, transgender etc dozens of programs…..). That doesn’t even take into account YouTube, Channel 4, Tik Tok and an array of other sources of pro-trans ideological programming for kids. (and ads on the street, adverts, and now included in the RSHP (Relationships Sexuality, Health, and Parenthood) lessons in Scottish schools from nursery through secondary.
But even with all this powerful messaging a primary school child does not come to a ‘transgender’ identity on his/her own. S/he must be facilitated by an adult. As Jamie Reed whistleblower of an American Paediatric transgender centre says ‘children cannot lead, they follow’. Every single case that comes through a ‘transgender centre’ has an adult leading the way. As adults we need to put on the brakes.
We now know via the Cass Report that once we initiate a trans identity with a child, a primary school child in particular, it is very unlikely that they will desist. “Social transition is not a neutral act”. In other words, children who are validated in opposite sex pronoun use and clothes will continue on through primary school, through secondary school and into adult hood where they are medicalised and mutilated. And for girls that means testosterone with some pretty radical side effects. One doctor reports on girls in their 20s going through vaginal atrophy. One cannot overstate the pain and suffering that alone will create for these young women.
We would think (hope) keeping individuals from such a fate would be paramount in our medical establishments minds and yet….
Glasgow’s own gender clinic the Sandyford was just reported to have 922 children on their wait list for treatment with as many as thirty between the ages of 5 and 10 years old.
I was speaking to Carolyn Brown educational psychologist and member of ScotPag about this and she indicated that parents who pursue diagnoses such as trans for their children often do it to fulfil their own mental health issues. And it brought to mind Munchausan by Proxy.
Years ago as a jobbing actor I got a voice over job for Forensic Files episode “Broken Bond”. The program tracks the true story of A 2-year-old boy's brain seizures and breathing problems which baffle doctors until they learn the mother exhibits signs of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a rare condition that led her to physically abuse her son and contributed to her daughter's death. These things exist.
As often is pointed out, Scotland has many buzz words which indicate our ‘progressive values’. Scrape the surface, however, and you will find it’s only when they are on message. It’s a very strange and dangerous contradiction. On the one hand the UNCRC is being weaponised to keep parents out when their children fall into the gender trap (Article 16: Children have a right to privacy). I have had weeping parents at the other end of my phone distraught with the harms their schools have brought to their beloved children via social transition. Parents who would cut off their arms if it meant their children would be well. These parents are kept out.
On the other hand we have parents forcing compliance in primary schools regarding their child’s transition. And the school’s fold. The schools allow the child to use the opposite sex toilets and encourage pronoun use within the school walls. The schools accept that the child in their care can be moulded into the opposite sex despite all the evidence showing otherwise. There is no question that the parent who is leading their child into known medical harm may be channeling their own trauma through their child’s transition. Safeguarding (as we once knew it) is thrown out the window. “Factitious disorder imposed on another” (once called Munchausen by proxy) is a known mental health condition- are we validating these sociopatholgies for the cause of gender ideology? Who is better in the end?
What Happens to Kids Who Are Socially Transitioned as They Get Older? What of Adult Trans Kids?

I speak to a lot of parents. One of the most heartbreaking conversations I have is with parents whose trans-identified kids have continued in their trans delusion once school is finished and any semblance of protection they can offer is gone. I can only liken it to a parent watching their child struggle with drug addiction. Except in the case of drug addiction society is not validating and celebrating as a person kills themselves slowly via their drugs.I have one family wherein the daughter who was adopted as a toddler, is autistic and very socially awkward has found a ‘tribe’ where before she was always an outsider. As an autistic individual she does not understand nor accept grey areas of thought. She has started a relationship with another trans identified female who is similarly myopic in her thinking. Watching the two of them, both clearly wanting love and acceptance, poison themselves with hormones is a horror movie in slow motion. Both suffer from obesity, one uses a cane due to bone density issues. She is exceptionally angry all the time. The parents can do nothing.
And it got me thinking (more). Are girls the zombie sleepers in this gender ideological war? They seemingly pose no threat but are their cultivated sociopathologies holding up the movement? In the same way we are heightened to keeping nuts away from those with extreme nut allergies, we must be heightened to the risks children and autistic children face when saturated with gender ideology.
Imagine this dystopian sci-fi thriller. Children are implanted with chips when they are young that are activated in their teen years in order to create massive havoc. It’s not apparent at first what their purpose is. They are ‘odd’, find it difficult to mix, maybe they have some exceptional skills for ‘non-human’ things. Mathematical processing. Remembering stuff. Life is only understood in the most logical and linear ways. And then, chaos. In the words of

Well written...I find the absence of accountability sickening. The thousands of affirming paper cuts before the surgeon wields his affirming knife...via the full spectrum propoganda machine. There is very little resistance to this or personal responsibility. The fraud requires mass participation/complicity... Mostly via omission.
